Leendert works for what he calls “the most international company in the world and the greatest express company in the world”, DHL. As VP of Sales Programs he executes the overall direction of DHL Express’ global sales programs and priorities, with a specific focus on leveraging the cross-border eCommerce opportunity. Additionally, he supports all of DHL Express’ sales people around the world to become the best version of themselves by staying motivated and focused, and in turn providing that support to their customers. Leendert and DHL Express believe that cross-border eCommerce has a huge upside that many merchants – B2C and B2B – have not yet tapped. Their aim is to support online retailers as they go global and to stand as the most international provider of choice for eCommerce.
